Binding Description
is the material of the cover of wood covered with black leather covers. Initially, two simple closing of metal had been attached to leather straps, one of them is received but only one.
front and back covers of the Bible are decorated in the same way with blind printing, this can be seen especially on the front is poor. A simple frame ornament is considering a role with a rectangular midfield. From the midfield again two fields are separated top and bottom with smaller decorations all around. Provenance
found within the Bible contains several hand-written messages. Directly to the front of the mirror is a hard-to-read short note. The most extensive records but are flying on the back flyleaf. On the recto first is a long text with the dating to the year 1819. Among separated with a line for a later entry on 10 February was written 1814th On the verso side of the entries start with a small award of a third hand: "This is (..?)
