Black Women In Japan Blog

Christmas + New Year!

I am again running late, but that ye should by now accustomed: P

My Christmas was really quite beautiful.
If something else and somehow not Christmas!
I was just not in the Christmas mood and it has not ever felt like Christmas.
Despite the snow and darkness;)

morning at 10, we had breakfast in their sleep suit and then have all ready made and then stop really only rumgegammelt: D.
At about 1:30 gabs then "big" Christmas dinner.
I put the time in quotes because the Swedish Julbord for Sweden holding something special.
I came but somehow more like "leftovers to eat" before.
So not that it was bad food, but it was all thrown together.
Köttbullar, beetroot salad, Fischsil, Fish gratin, sausage (:? D), pickles, as always, sweet bread with salty butter and a few more things which I no longer want to come.

came at 3 then "Kalle Anka". What is it? you will ask yourself now determined. Kalle Anka
simply is none other than Donald Duck. It took
until I had found out. In any case
sits at 3 over Sweden in front of television and looks at this program.
Then there are a lot of different clips from Disney movies. Probably just as pointless
Dinner for One on New Year's Eve with us: D.

My favorite movie is here:

Then we went with my host mother in the church.
In Sweden, unlike Germany, the majority just like me Protestant.
The service was different not, I think now really great from a German.
There was no nativity play: (But
but a great solo singer!

Then we went home and it was exchanged gifts.
In Sweden, one puts the presents under the Christmas tree as soon as the tree.
and it has been filled under our tree only gradually. He then saw
:

After the gifts were then very traditional rice pudding with cinnamon and sugar. In
rice pudding is one almond, it is always said whoever gets the almond gets married next year;)

Yes and that was already Christmas.
On 1 Christmas Day we went to the cinema and on 2 friends over for dinner, then back on wos "Julbord" was.

My New Year's Eve was really really spectacular and I have to say, boring! : D
I was with another German ATS at home in Lund and we just watched DVDs, talking and trying to beat the dead time.
It was not even slightly depressing to go celebrate because it happens to be in Sweden, you are under 18 you get nowhere pure.
of champagne gabs not, because we are honest exchange students. ;) Sun Kam
then we at 12 in thermal trousers and thick jackets were on the edge of the village and have only just looked at the fireworks.
Well it was definitely a different experience and hold times Lisa and I are now even more this year on New Years: D

Last week Tuesday I was with my host family in the musical "Jekyll & Hyde". We've all got from my host mother for Christmas.
It was really cool and I've also got it all:)

morning we travel to Jönköping to Sunday and visit my Gastoma. On Thursday we will
go to a concert, "Salem al Fakir" I've never heard the name before and I like the music but I particularly do not even get paid habs and a determination is quite funny:).

begins Tuesday then the school again. My 2nd Half of which is somehow hard to believe. It seems as if it were yesterday that I was still at home.
I'm so excited because in 155 days to go back home: Clear)
it is strange to have to back away from here, but oh well ... : P

Finally a picture from Helsingborg yesterday:

Goodbye, takes care of you, I sign <3
